10月19日 a Birthday, a boxset and a geography tripok havent blogged for ages again and its not just because i am that completely boring all the time i have nothing to say.
obviously quite a lot has happened since i could last be bothered to blog so i'l just go on about the major stuff.
i turned 18 2 weeks ago today. i got loads of presents. parents got me a new phone and a necklace and friends got things like champagne and the series one My Name Is Earl boxset.
i was going to blog more often but i still havent got the wireless router. i also still dont have a provisional licence so i still havent started driving lessons. the parents are making me buy my own provisional and pay for all the lessons (fair enough i do get my wages) and then when they get my mum a new car she has to share it with me.
last week i was away on the geography trip with Burbs Nic Luke and the Steves. it was to Swanage to look at coastal erosion. it was more fun than it sounds. i actually managed to get served my first legal drink of carling in a pub despite me looking about 14 but i dont think the pub particually cared. 9月13日 i want to leave school but i wont.Steve is now 18 so this friday everyone is going Meridian for his party outing type thing and we have to go dressed as pimps or hoes. i got my outfit ready and i might get very cold. i need lots of money for that so its good that i do now have a job (if i didnt i couldnt have gone) and the emergency tax situation is all sorted out and i got my £9 something back. it was really sweet on his birthday TG got Steeevee a pink pig cake and then everyone decorated it for him.
i am 18 in 3 weeks time so i am looking forward to getting presents and a pay rise and my new phone!
ok that was a ramble.
i will now carry on with the coursework
8月18日 this week has been a good weekfinally the lack of funds is sorted
i applied for a job in Argos on Sunday and was invited for an interview on Monday for Wednesday.
on wednesday i dressed up smart, and despite being very nervous and having to sit on my hands because they were being all crazy, i managed not to come across as a complete idiot in the interview. straight after that i went Sarah Morgan's for her Bouncy Castle Non Birthday party, and during that i found out i had got the job!
yesterday obviously was results day for my AS levels and i got no vowels so no A's but no E's either.
they were Geography B (quite pleased about that one because i failed every mock exam we did), Sociology B, Psychology C, Accounting D although in one of the 3 exams i got B, General studies B.
8月10日 its all changed. i like it.i havent blogged for ages.
although i could claim that this is because i have had better things to do i can assure you it isnt. i decided not to blog again until the parents made the wireless router purchase and as yet they havent. they have got to the look at it decide to buy it then ponder about it for a bit stage but then their ponder time is also being taken up by the possibility of a new fridge freezer.
its the summer holidays at the moment and i have just about less than a month left. these are my last ever EVER EVER summer holidays because next year, when all of my brighter and more ambitious friends have their summer holiday before going university, i have decided to go get a job.
as in join the real world (no offence university people you are more brainy and as school keeps humiliatingly pointing out, likely to earn much more money than me, therefore giving you the opportunity to buy a bigger house and a better car) and im going to have to PAY TAX.
if that wasnt shocking enough, according to my school not going to university and getting a degree for the sake of it even though i really dont want to (as i was told to do by my form tutor) i will be RUINING MY LIFE and will be destined to be in a dead end job wondering where it all went wrong forever.
i have done some things over the holiday. iv been round peoples houses for parties and general socialising, as well as going on numerous family outings. and watching Neighbours.
i got my hair cut quite short since the last blog as well. in the time since it has grown a a ridiculously fast rate leading me to suspect all hairdressers have been spraying Miracle Grow on it every time they see me.
yesterday i went to Leire to Sarah M's house for Die Hard Day. we ate huge amounts of M+Ms and watched all 3 Die Hard films back to back. she then drove me and Zara back in her own tonic blue coloured car because she is super cool.
i got the Racontuers CD i really like it my favourites are Together, Broken Boy Soldier, Hands and Blue Veins.
5月1日 geography trip to the Lake District- because Leicester just isnt hilly enoughok so im the 5th person to write about this. i might even give it a whole new perspective you just dont know.
tuesday we left later than planned (due to issues over Tim's medical form) me+ Nic ended up distressingly seperated from the rest of our group at the front of the mini bus. only Nic didnt mind so much when she saw how much food i had got from Sainsbury's the night before. the traffic around the area was bad so we didnt get time to do anything very interesting. when we got to the YHA place i found out i was sharing room 17 with Nic and Rachael.
Rachael's a sleeptalker watch: several moans and sleepchews throughout the night but then there was NUMBER FIFTEEN! LOUISE! (?!)
wednesday running around on sand dunes was lots of fun, digging and measuring and causing terrible amounts of eco vandalism. we attemped to go to the pub that night but then realised we couldnt be bothered and it was too late anyway. Luke trying on Rachael's bra was the main comedy of the night.
Rachael's a sleeptalker watch: I want to go to Fosse Park...I dont want to be late.....going on the bus....need to get that dress....+ mumblings groans etc.
thursday was the most tiring day in the history of geography. the three major activities were 1. data analysis of a river using an orange (something like that) 2. running then walking then crawling then falling down in a heap trying to get to the top of the deceptively huge amount of rock that is Loughrigg Fell. (which we did eventually manage by the way). activity 3 was kayaking, which for me, Nic, Scottish and English Steve amoungst others was a bit of a non event as we refused. which was probably a good idea for me as i was so tired from the mountainous walking i would of fallen out. that night we went graveyard exporing in the dark where William Wordsworth is currently located. that was the scene of the great Tictac event with Luke shaking his Tictacs at an already scared Tim causing him to think he was being attacked by the ghostly Tictacs. Rachael's a sleeptalker watch: a quiet night with just mainly mumblings.
friday we went home. nothing much happened other than we went home. but it was fun.
song of the day/week/trip: Naive- The Kooks Radio 1's playlist is designed so you can listen to it on and off the whole week and only hear a maximum of 7 songs, which quickly become very irritating despite being quite good originally. 3月9日 i saw a rainbow today.A
sociology test 1 went well. i also got a B in pschology and an E in accounting. whys?
why does MSN assume i have a webcam?
why do chavs play their music on their phone so everyone can hear without being embarrased?
why did i refuse a lift with Loo when it was cold and rainy and windy?
song of the day: Garbage - Stupid Girl
3月2日 Jenny fell off her chair...in seminar. now that would suggest that perhaps for once it was remotely interesting but no. it was again, a complete waste of time and brain cells.
at the moment i am meant to be in psychology but we are down as not required because they teacher thinks its more important to go to a meeting about teaching than actually teach.
its snowing at the moment (2:27pm) quite a bit actually i think it might settle. Steve is driving me home again tonight lets just hope mum doesnt realise or she will worry. he has done well with trying to convince her he is a good driver. lots or sensible corner taking etc..
song list planning for ROADTRIP is going well. we now have 40+ i think.
this picture by the way is of cliff erosion at Hunstanton where the ROADTRIP is going to be heading. see all these teachers go on about 'reading around' the subject we are actually going there.ok its 2:43 (i dont type that slow but Burb and texts can be distracting) and the pathetic amount of snow is melting. never mind it was fun while it lasted.
UPDATE: just as me and Rachael went outside school to find Steve's car it started snowing heavily again leaving me and Rachael soaking wet, cold and resembling snow men.
song of the day: Feeder - Buck Rodgers number 20 on the song list. 2月28日 success with purple/look i have friends/damn you curtaini want my room decorated purple but parents were saying no so we have come to a comprimise of dark lilac (otherwise known as purple).
they have agreed to get me a new wardrobe and at some point a new carpet and mum says i can have a stripy door. she hasnt told dad that yet. i asked about my ceiling and radiator and he said i could have them 'any shade of brilliant white'.
mum actually went out today and got us a Lean Mean Fat Reducing Grilling Machine.
must go and watch Jimmy Eat World on One Tree Hill. i might add more but im not promising anything.
ok i did.
on the advice of a Mr Smith i will now introduce my friends that i always go on about because i never say who they really are. as people. you know.
so
other bloggers
Jenny/McD: i met her at the school i am currently at in year 10 and i am now in year 12. she is richer than me and both her parents are teachers. i am in lots of lessons with her. has 2 fat cats, a heron, and an as yet unidentified Super Furry Animal in her garden. she is going to be a Dr because shes clever like that.
Tim: is my cousin who has issues about being ginger. 1 brother 1 sister both younger. he hates doing media because its as crap and everyone says it is. wants to be a journalist (i think, something like that anyway)
Steve: can drive so is officially the best. he likes computers and that. you could think that was quite sad if computers didnt rule the world. he has a cat as well. is generous, warm, sarcastic, funny and mean.
Rachael/Rach/Burb: i have known forever (welll many years anyway). she lives in my village and i go on the bus to school with her and am in psychology with her and she is just there all the while. she straightens her hair.
Annie/Rhianna: is a christan and loving it. shes very friendly and happy. i dont have any lessons with her come to think of it and i used to have most with her at GCSE.
Ellis: she has taken to straightening her hair too.
other friends
Wills/Rachael: is sporty. and on the bus with me. dont really know how/why we are friends but we are. she lets me use her locker.
Nic/Nicola: lives in the village twice. dont really know how i got to be friends with her either. she is impossible to fall out with because she is just a good person.
we are all doing AS levels at LGSCC in Leicester and are 16/17.
other
Em/Emily/Necklace Destroyer: my sister who is younger, taller and skinnier than me.
so now everyone knows.
PEOPLE I LEFT OUT
im eating bread so im distracted. will add to this later. i also want to point out these people arent my only friends. most of them. but yeah.
i just pulled the curtain in this room down but Em fixed it.
bye bye for now
song of the day: Lynyrd Skynyrd - Sweet Home Alabama Jenny reckons she has never heard this song(?!) 2月15日 i have short(ish) haircompared to other people its still quite long though. its just above my shoulder and has got tons of layers in it so it has gone wavy. i like it. even if my mum did say with it up i look like an onion.
Happy 17th Birthday Tim
talking of my friends turning 17, i can stop panicking about getting Zara a birthday present now me Jenny and Burb are going town on friday (so i dont forget and have to ask Rachael again as usual -be at bus stop for 10 to 10)
song of the day: Don't Look Back In Anger by Oasis, which was playing on the radio as the hairdresser was telling me she was going to have to cut a huge chunk off to get started... 2月8日 i can read!! STEVE CAN DRIVE!!i know this because i went to the library and got 2 books out.
i hadnt been in so long my card had expired and had to be reactivated. i got Everythings Eventual by Stephen King, and Adrian Mole and the Weapons of Mass Destruction.
so lots of reading to be done.

GOOD NEWS FOR STEVE
i went round Steve's a bit ago for a mini party to surprise him about passing his driving test. we decorated a car shaped cake and then hid in his conservatory, only for Steve to see Tims head before the surprise and say hello before we did. but it was all fun and Steve seemed pleased. then his parents gave us Cava. many party poppers were popped.
song of the day: 99 Problems- Jay-Z
me and Jenny downloaded a mix of this and 5 Colours In Her Hair by Mcfly. together its very cool. 1月31日 i have a picture!!i am no longer a mystery.
today has been fun. boy who was 'shadowing' Tim for the day who goes by the name of Adam seemed nice.
horrifically big ass essays for sociology are finished!! whoop. now me and Jenny just need to return to school to give them in.
Steve + Burbs are now officially loved up.
later:
me and Jenny have realised our sociology teacher can be a reasonable person when other certain dumb members of our class are away, the notable amount of absentees today being because of horrifically big ass essays.
me and Jenny also mananged to look foolish across Lutterworth carrying huge chocolate santas.song of the day: I Will Survive- Gloria Gaynor by request of Jenny. 12月27日 slightly late snowwoke up today late to discover pretty snow settling everywhere and on the roads. now this would be good but my mum has gone work so at some point has to drive home in it, and i wanted to go shopping this afternoon. still got a certain Jenny McDs birthday present to get you see.
Christmas day
i didnt really write about Christmas day i suppose i should mention it. turkey dinner was expertly cooked by my mum. she was moaning about the final presentation of it, it 'looked chucked together' but that didnt stop it from being very tasty. Turkey was from the Co-op and we were impressed.
my main present from parents was a digital camera. its blue and looks very posh. iv taken tons of photos with it to get used to it mainly of my hands and feet. its got a decent memory card with it as well so i can make films.
Boxing day
didnt really do anything other than watch Mrs Doubtfire with mum in the afternoon. parents+ Em went to a boxing day party in the village later on but i refused to go so i tried to do that quiz of the year on 4. gave up because it was too easy and they just spent most of the time taking the piss out of Gordon Ramsey. 12月24日 santas getting ready now!hello my festive friends
iv been up for a while now. i was intending on staying in bed for a while but my gma rang to tell my mum about lettuce which woke me up too much.
today no last minute shopping is needed other than to go get wine from some where. and we also need to go give Tim his present and swap with my other relatives the Richard+Laura family. then get presents from my gmas and Sharon+Steve who have gone on holiday so they will be at my gmas. we gave them theirs last night before getting a chinese. ooo it was a good chinese. but they forgot to give us the chicken balls to go with the sweet+sour sauce though but we went to get them and they were very nice and gave us more sauce. and we got a panda calender free.
so plans for tomorrow
so tons of big fun. merry christmas everyone i hope your day is equally fun. 12月19日 FIXED- one very broken necklaceand our boiler is all in working order. a boiler man called Matthew told us this morning you see. he was nice and reasonable.
i now have all christmas presents. my mum went work everywhere today but late because of boiler man so she dropped me and Em at Fosse Park so we could get the last of parent presents. then i met up with my gma (the one thats not yours Tim) and she took us to a pub for a meal, then i went back to hers and had a nap before Countdown.
Forgiveness Alert: i have forgiven Em for destroying my necklace.
she fixed it to a point but had made it symmetrical when it never was before. so although that was a decent thing of her to do after telling me she hadnt got enough dosh to get me a new one it still left the necklace unwearable because it was heavier one side than the other. so i made her do it again. its a good job she is handy with pliers.
she now has realised that to avoid these little inconveniences she shouldnt break my stuff in the first place.
x x x big hugs for Rachael x x x 12月16日 big non learning funsuch a good day as expected, there was no learning done at all. i went to all my lessons like a good girl but the teachers seemed more interested in feeding us chocolate and sweets. first lesson which was sociology as promised we watched a video about transexuals and also did a quiz that me Jenny and Sam TG won by miles because it was about useless information like names of chocolate we even got the bonus question right about names invented by authors (answer being Wendy) year 12 assembly was sooooooo unintentionally good. the boys what with being mature beings and all that decided to cheer and clap at the end of every sentence (you had to be there, me and Jenny were crying with laughing) and then we all song Oh Come All Ye Faithfull. the person who wrote the lyrics on the handouts had put 'Oh Come etc..' after the first corus, que a singalong of oh come etceeeteraaaaa. in geography he gave out letters about the geography trip to the Lake District and told us to ask our 'financial consultants' if we could go. Nicola, who sadly has found she has no friends in her geography class is going to come with us because i asked special permission. im so nice. teacher also made the mistake of giving us lots of chocolate before making us doing anything so the lesson was a big fun non learning experience. psychology we watched Zaras DVD of The Nightmare Before Christmas and in accounting i turned up to be told she was registering us and we could go. meaning i have carried the bloody break your back accounting book and my folder of work FOR NO REASON. i also managed to fit in a trip to Morrisons to get some Jaffa Cakes to go in the family Christmas Munch Box. now last night me and Em had a mega barny which ended in her (probably accidentally) breaking the long necklace my mum got me for my birthday into 7 PEICES. as you can imagine, i was ultra unbelievably mad and chased her up the stairs. she assumed i was going to kill her so she locked herself in the bathroom for a bit until my mum got home. 12月14日 in lessons i have only 2 psychology, 2 accounting, 2 sociology, 1 geography, and 1 seminar before christmas!so i have 8 lessons left before school finishes for christmas.
yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay.
i even managed to write my friends their christmas cards last night! and the tree is up. wow.
its nearly christmas.
and also i know im meant to have stopped moaning about it now but this person (Josh Homme) is who Louise mistook 'Hot Blonde Girl' for.12月8日 oh man i shopped til i droppedsooo last afternoon/night i went shopping as planned on the 140 Woods bus from Lutterworth. it cost £2.25 which considering the journey took over an hour i didnt think was bad. and also that was the first time i have ever admitted my age on public transport.
![]() i did manage to get some presents including a set of bracelets and a necklace for my sister and then i got 2 boxes of liquor chocolates that will be part of the present to my mum and dad. Marks+Spencer till man asked for ID because you have to be 16 to buy stuff that has alcohol in it but that was fair enough if i can pass for a 15 year old. and Rachael bought me a cornish pasty isnt she nice.
and i got myself some more bracelets just because i liked them and a stripy top.
nooooooooo Lost! it was a seriously emotion packed episode over on E4 featuring major plot developments. |
